Each person has different talents and ideas to share. Perhaps you are good at talking, creating or organizing; maybe you are looking for a way to offer a helping hand or build new relationships.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is in charge of recruiting new members, as well as annually developing programs to recruit and retain the general membership.

Volunteerism Committee
Volunteerism is very important to JAYP. The Volunteerism Committee will focus on getting the organization and its members involved in community volunteerism projects in the Joliet area.

Communication Committee
The Communications Committee is in charge of making sure the community knows about upcoming JAYP events through different media avenues, such as newspapers, radio, word of mouth and mailings. They will also keep members informed about what is developing with the group. This committee maintains the website and develops the JAYP newsletter.

Social Committee
This committee will focus on creating and putting into action events for the members and potential members of the JAYP. Events include after hours, conversations and fun trips like Jackhammer games.

Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee will coordinate educational programs for young professionals to attend. Such conversations will include interview skills, promoting yourself internally and externally, financial planning, and various other topics important to young professionals.
